An old-fashioned black beer, using 4 different malts to achieve the intense flavour, has a hint of bitterness derived from roast barley and chocolate malt. A London yeast is normally used for the relatively warm fermentation, which adds a slight fruitininess to the beer. A stronger version of this beer is available in the bottle. Both beers should be drunk young.
